port facilities

The Port of Bécancour includes an impressive number of first-class features, including:

  • a liquid bulk terminal less than one km from port facilities and connected to Pier B-2 by a network of pipe racks, allowing the transfer of liquid products directly from ships to tanks;
  • a rail line connecting the port facilities to the Canadian National (CN) rail network;
  • 61 hectares of cargo handling and storage space, of which 14 hectares are paved, lit, and located near the berths;
  • a gatehouse to control access to the port and a scale for weighing the goods handled.
